Christopher Donaghue
Christopher Donaghue is a sexuality expert specializing in the sexuality spectrum and addictive behaviors such as sexual compulsivity/sex addiction, as well as mood and relational intimacy disorders. He has dedicated his professional life to helping people reclaim control of their sex lives through intense individual and group therapy sessions. Having received his Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Temple University, Chris is currently finishing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
He trained in couples and sex therapy at Florida's Post Graduate Sex Therapy training program, UCLA, and the Center for Health Sex. Currently, Chris specializes in couples and sex therapy, as well as running sex addiction, love addiction and sexuality group therapy at The Hills Treatment Center. He is also the former Program Director at La Ventana Rehab's Sexual Addiction Program. He is a member of American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
Chris is in the process of writing his first book tentatively called “Sexual Revolution” and is the sexuality expert for the new docu-reality series Bad Sex on Logo. The book focuses on being sex positive, which means challenging our sex phobic and sex negative culture. It also explores the neurology of sex, acceptance of everything sexual and sexual diversity, acknowledging individual sexuality and natural sexual biology.
